S. G. STEVENS

Redwood City Democrat

S. G. Stevens, Redwood’s pioneer nursery man, passed away Monday afternoon after a painful illness of two weeks. Mr. Stevens was a native of England aged 73 and had resided here since 1868. He was a good industrious citizen and respected by all who knew him. His funeral will take place today. Rev. Robert Whittaker, a Baptist minister of Oakland will hold services at the home on A Street, after which the body will be interred in Union Cemetery. The deceased leaves a wife and a nephew, John Stevens, residing in this town.
