Death of James Brown

James Brown, brother of Robert Brown, of this city, suffered a stroke of apoplexy at the latter’s home on Main Street Thursday afternoon. Dr. Ross was called and had the patient removed to Mrs. Huling’s sanitarium where he passed away on Saturday. The deceased was a native of Scotland, aged 71 years. He was well known and highly esteemed in this city. The funeral took place Monday afternoon from the home of Robert Brown, Rev. C.H. Stevens conducting the services. The burial was in Union Cemetery.
