Pioneer passes away

Thomas Beebe, one of the old residents of the coast side passed away at his home near Lobitos Sunday, after a long illness. The deceased had resided in the county 50 years, following the occupation of a farmer. He was a sterling citizen and respected by a large circle of friends. The burial took place in Union Cemetery, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. C.C. Kirkland conduction the services at the grave. Mr. Beebe was a native of New York, aged 78 years. He leaves a wife, grown up daughter and son.
